I half expected the day to be rough because it’s tricky getting used to how fast (or slow as the case is) the drip should be run so I don’t have any problems and I didn’t remember whether we ran saline with it last time or not. I just knew it had to be slow and that I had to speak up immediately if I thought I was having any complications.

People wind up in the hospital because they don’t speak up.
