A few weeks ago (Is it really that long???? Time FLIES!!!!), I posted a teaser of the cover for my Fall release novel, The Journal of Angela Ashby and am here to reveal just a little bit more… and when I say little, I mean little. One of the characters in The Journal of Angela Ashby is a fairy, which definitely meets the criteria of little … except she has HUGE personality. Meet Tatiana, the farting fairy. She waltzed into the story because of a catch-phrase and simply refused to leave. And I’m certainly glad she didn’t because she became one of my favorite characters to write.
Tatiana was so much fun, I knew she had to be a part of the cover. Mister-Sam Shearon, the cover illustrator, knocked it out of the park. From her lavender dress to her rainbow wings, he captured her perfectly.
ANNOUNCEMENT: This coming week I’ll be giving an advanced peek of the entire cover for The Journal of Angela Ashby to my newsletter subscribers, along with an excerpt from the well-reviewed ISAN – International Sensory Assassin Network written by my friend and publisher-mate, Mary Ting AND the opportunity to win some 7th Grade Revolution merchandise.
